- 1/2 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chili powder
- 1/3 cup grated Cheese (you may use mozzarella or processed cheese)
- 1/2 Tsp Chilli Flakes
- 2 Tbsp melted Butter or Ghee
- 2–3 Tbsp fresh Coriander leaves, roughly chopped
Instructions
Cut the boneless chicken into long strips. Marinate the chicken strips with curd (yoghurt), lime juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, grated mozzarella or processed cheese, garam masala powder, cream, oil and salt to taste for 30-40 mins.
- Use wooden skewers to string the marinated chicken strips, one chicken strip in one skewer each.
- Place the skewers in a pre-heated Air Fryer and cook for 5 mins at 180°C. Open the air fryer tub, brush the chicken tikkas with melted butter or ghee and then flip the skewers to cook the other side of the skewers. Continue to air fry for another 5 mins at 180°C.
- In the meantime mix together the grated cheese, finely chopped coriander leaves, chilli flakes.
- After 10 mins of cooking, open the air fryer tub and generously dust the grated cheese mix over the chicken tikkas. Cook for another 2 mins max.
- Your Cheesy Chicken Tikka is ready. They go well sprinkled with some chaat masala and accompanied with some freshly made green chutney.
Notes
Remember to soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 mins before using. This will prevent them from getting burnt while cooking in the air fryer.
