Description

Goodness In A Glass

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup thick hung Curd or Greek Yoghurt or any non-dairy yoghurt of your choice
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seed
  • Raspberries
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • 3 Tbsp Honey

Instructions

  1. To make the base of the smoothie, process the yoghurt, bananas, honey, chia seeds. Blend together until smooth and lump free. Take a couple of spoonful of the smoothie base and pour into two glasses. It is important to remember that you will be putting more layers on top!
  2. Now add a handful of raspberries and strawberries to the smoothie base. Process and blend together. If you aren’t happy with the colour, you may add a few more strawberries and raspberries. Once you attain the desired colour of the smoothies, pour the second layer of the smoothie into the glass.
  3. Continue to make the third layer of the smoothie by adding a handful of blueberries and blackberries to make your final dark top layer for your smoothie. Blend them together with the remaining smoothie base till they are smooth and lump free. Pour into the glasses to fill almost to the top.
  4. Layer some fresh berries over top of your smoothie.

Notes

You may omit any one of the berries if not readily available in your store. I have once tried using only strawberries and blueberries. The smoothie tastes equally good!
